For over 40 years, Fred Stone captured the beauty of the horse on canvas. Lauded as “the most famous painter of horses in the world”, his legacy as the premier painter of Thoroughbred horses lives on.

Since my father's passing I, Laura Stone, have begun the daunting task of cataloging all of his artwork - from his commercial art days to his beloved thoroughbred racing paintings. Needless to say, my journey has just begun - with over 200 paintings and enumerable prints, there is much to be done.

Throughout this process, I will be releasing select artwork - some of which will be the last remaining signed artwork that my father produced. Please check back here often and like us on Facebook to get timely updates on those releases.

Celebrating 30th Years of Racing at Prairie Meadows Altoona, Iowa! Fred Stone painted "Prairie Heritage" for the Grand Opening Celebration in 1989.

For Summer 2019 we have Limited Edition Signed Lithographs of Man O'War, Laffit, and Secretariat available.
