Forever Friends

Fine Art Lithograph on Archival Paper, only 14 available.

In 1930, eight years after he was retired to stud, the eternal friendship of Man O’War and groom Will Harbut was to begin. For the next seventeen years, the big red horse and the old groom lived out their lives together at Faraway Farm in Lexington, Kentucky. On October 3, 1947, Will Harbut died of a heart attack. Within thirty days, the friend whom Harbut had called “Da Mostest Hoss” was dead.
